Just received my knives back. Absolutely the best knife service I have ever used. I sent several different categories of knives...all came back like new. One long chef's knife had several chips...you would never know it had been chipped after Knife Aid service. My wife and I are excited about the service we received and are sending a second set of knives for repair and sharpening. Service has a fast turn around. Strongly recommend this service to anyone who needs their knives sharpened properly. Edges on each knife were polished. One Wusthof knife which had been sharpened many times over 40 years of use had become "deformed". Knife Aid did an excellent job of straightening the blade.

The process was extremely easy and the results were excellent! They are true professionals. This is the way to sharpen your knives!

I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the sharpening of my knives. I have some knives I have had for almost 40 years and no matter what I do I could never get them sharp. By the luck of the draw, I saw that Zwilling sharpens knives. I knew I had nothing to lose so I sent my knives in to be sharpened. I hate working with the dull knives. The service was incredibly fast, I had my knives back in no time, and they were so incredibly sharp. I was doing a little dance around my kitchen when I was cooking. Wow! Do it again, Tony! I have fiddled with sharpening my own knives for years, and also have looked into places that sharpen knives. One place, they were using a home electric sharpener, that you drag the knife through. They always leave small circular scratch marks on the blade, or take too much blade off. Disgusted, I never went back. I have been hunting for a place that knows how, and why, you sharpen knives differently, and you treat em like family!
So, Tony! Would you please sharpen another batch of knives for me again??? There's nothing like cooking with a whole batch of perfectly sharpened knives. I'm picking up some gift cards for Xmas this year, who wouldn't love this ?

Just got my knives back. I'm a chef by trade and been working in the industry for more than 12 years and half of that to this one place! Anyways, overall in short I heavily use and abuse my knives to the fullest degree. Any professional chef knows, his sharp knives are their tools. So we all heavily use them on a daily basis.
With all that being said and praised about knives and knifeaid company in general. I bought several knives from Dalstrong and I was excited that they have in-house sharpening services. Little did I know that dalstrong co. Uses kniveaid as subcontractors and uses them for their services. If I have known that, I would used kniveaid directly instead of going through Dalstong. Dalstong shouldn't promptly display that they have in-house sharpening services if they out-source this service. Dalstong should really advise and advertise that they out-sourced the knife sharpening services.
That's all I have to say. Dalstrong does makes excellent and amazing knives that I'll still keep buying knives from. Now I know Kniveaid have great Sharpening services; and will be using you guys again and again.
